When is my baby ready for solids🤔?
Most babies are ready to begin their semi solids 🍌around 5-6 months of age, but every baby develops at their own pace. Here are key signs your baby might be ready👇:
Sits up with minimal support 🧸
Shows interest in what you are eating 👀
Has good head and neck control 🐥
Opens mouth when food approaches 🐱
Lost the tongue-thrust reflex (automatically pushing things out of their mouth) 😛
Tip: Always consult your paediatrician👨🏻⚕️👩🏻⚕️ before introducing solids, especially if your baby was premature or has any medical conditions.
