Account & Child Information
- Your name and mobile number (used to sign in via one-time password)
- Your child's name, date of birth, gender, and photo/avatar
- Diet type, allergies, and pantry ingredients you set for your child
Health & Nutrition Data
- Growth entries (height, weight)
- Vaccination records, and any prescription or test-report photos you upload
- Ill Mode status and any related notes
Usage & Device Data
- App interactions and features used
- Push notification subscription details, so reminders can reach your device

2. How We Use Your Information
- Build and personalise your child's meal plans and recommendations
- Send meal, vaccination, and growth reminders you've opted into
- Power Ask PüréeJoy and the recipe suggestion features
- Improve the app and fix issues
- Process payments for paid plans
3. Sharing of Information
We do NOT sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase (database and file storage) and Vercel (hosting), which run PüréeJoy's infrastructure
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), to deliver push notification reminders
- RevenueCat, to manage subscriptions and purchases — your phone number is used as your subscriber ID
- Google Gemini, the AI behind Ask PüréeJoy, the recipe/illness-diet suggestions, and reading scanned prescriptions, vaccination cards, and test reports
- PostHog, for lightweight, no-PII product analytics (which tab you use, which features you tap) — never your child's name, DOB, allergies, diet, or anything you've typed
- Razorpay, to process payments for paid plans
- A healthcare professional, only if you choose to share information with one yourself (e.g. exporting data to send via WhatsApp)
- Legal authorities, if required by law
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored with industry-standard encryption and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access.
5. Children's Privacy
PüréeJoy is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children — all child information is entered by the parent or guardian using the app.
6. Your Rights
- Access, update, or export all your data as one file (Settings → Export my data)
- Delete your account and all linked children's data, immediately and permanently (Settings → Delete account)
- Withdraw consent for optional features like push notifications at any time
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Deleting your account immediately erases your account, your children's profiles, health records, photos and questions asked in the app. Payment records (amount, date and payment reference) are kept only as long as tax and accounting laws require.
8. This Website & Cookies
This marketing website (the pages you're reading now) may use standard analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and which links are clicked. You can control cookies through your browser settings. This is separate from the in-app analytics described in section 3 (PostHog) — which tracks tab/feature usage inside the app itself, never your child's health or meal data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of PüréeJoy after a change means you accept the updated policy.
